Summer Runnin'

Should be good and hot this evening for my scheduled 5 miles. This morning at 7 am it was 80 degrees with 80% humidity. There's a good chance it will rain throughout the day today, and I pray it does, otherwise? Running tonight will be HOT.

Hopefully it does rain to cool things off. I wouldn't even say it was the heat this morning, that darn humidity was suffocating.

Good luck running tonight.

Oh my goodness Jess.... that is crazy hot! I missed last night's run due to... well... laziness? Is that an excuse? LOL...

anyhow I just got back from my mixed up 3.6 mile run. It was getting toasty out there... and I am in Michigan!

Stay cool out there. michelle over at Back fo the Pack has an interesting scraf/chamoise thing that she uses to keep her cool. The webaddress to get one is in her re-cap of the relay.

Take care!

Good God!! I seriously have NO idea how you all handle it down there. Good luck tonight!!

My drinking stats totally sucked. 2 martinis and that was it. I just don't have it in me anymore LOL :P

Ick - good luck. I can't remember who commented on this before, but what great training this will be for Chicago. If you can make it through summer running in Florida, Illinois in October will feel like heaven, and you will just fly through that marathon!

Rain should cool off your day a bit. How about a nice 5 miles in the rain?!?! That might feel good!

but doesn't it get sticky and humid after it rains? we're approaching 90% humidity some days even though temps are in the 70's it feels more like you're swimming than walking.

regardless...drink lots of water...

Hope you got some rain! I can't run in humidity for anything. Heck, I can't even walk in it. LOL
