So Busy

I need some kind of army of trained monkeys or a fleet of robo-Jesses to get everything done that I have going on this week. So, yeah, I'm a little behind on the blogging (plus, Jery has been hogging the computer lately with his 2 fantasy football leagues, as well as his MySpace Mafia and some other online war game -- seriously, could I have married a bigger nerd?!). Anyway, I hope to catch up soon.

In the meantime, hang tight with these random tidbits:
  • Yesterday, I bowled a 141, 127, and a 141. I think I am within the 150 range, and soon I hope to be posting a series of scores that represent a triple threat trifecta.
  • I ate an entire Chipotle burrito for dinner tonight and I swear that thing was the size of my head. I'm pretty sure the only carnivore that is a worthy opponent to me is T-Rex. Huzzah!
  • I am absolutely convinced that laundry breeds in the hampers; therefore, I am cutting off the fornication by putting dirty clothes directly into the washing machine. So far, it doesn't seem to be "hampering" the laundry licentiousness. How do you people with kids ever finish it?
  • I miss my Escape. Mostly I miss the way the leather seats delicately cup my ass cheeks. I also desperately miss Alt Nation on Sirius radio. I abhor commercial radio, so the only thing to listen to in the Poop-Tastic Cruiser is NPR. Don't get me wrong, I like NPR -- but if I hear one more word about the financial peril we're all facing, then I'm gonna steer that stupid 4-cylinder car that reminds me of a hearse right into a ditch.
  • It was rainy and lightning today, so no running. Besides, did you hear about the size of that burrito I ate? I feel like an Anaconda that just swallowed a goat -- all I wanna do is crawl into bed and sleep for three days while I digest.

I didn't realize we were actually supposed to laundry LOL. I always have at least one load waiting to be folded, one in the dryer, and another either in the hamper and/or partially filling the washer.

Man, that burrito sounds good. I had a craving for hamburger tonight that just about killed me. I just didn't have the energy to go out to get one or to defrost and cook my own, sigh.

Maybe that T-rex halloween costume idea Ryan had was fitting! (Actually he might have said Godzilla...but it's close.)

I hate laundry. In my house it never seems to go away! On Sirius I like the '90's alt station, classic vinyl and backspin!

Heck... I feel like I am always doing laundry, and I usually have more workout clothes in there than work clothes... hmmm.

Busy week all around us! :)

Huh? "Finish" it?!?! At our house we certainly don't ever "finish" laundry. It's a never ending process. The to be folded pile never gets completely empty, the to be washed pile keeps growing and there's always something in teh washer and/or dryer.

Laundry is a spawn of the devil, I am convinced. I work from home and can't seem to keep on top of it... so I can't imagine what it is like for people with kids... ugh.

My mom drives a PT Cruiser and thinks she is the coolest person in the world. I don't have the heart to tell her the truth!

The solution to your problem is to throw the dirty clothes into the trash (or donate them, if you're into that whole charity thing) and buy new clothes when you need something to wear.

In my circles, we call your post-Chipotle symptom, "burrito fetus."

YUMMMMM i *heart* chipotle!

"could I have married a bigger nerd?!" ... she said in her online journal.

Oh and fantasy football is totally not nerdy, it's boss!

P.S. Tell your word verification to get off my back!

I apologize for my small part in perpetuating the news about the financial crisis...apparently it's the only thing this business reporter is supposed to care about right now...

and goood lord how did you manage to house a whole Chipotle burrito??? Those things are huuuuge!

How is it that the laundry multiplies, but I still keep losing socks? I haven't figured that one out yet . . . especially with tiny baby socks. Luckily 1 year olds don't notice if their socks don't match.

Nice bowling scores -- I was on a league pre-baby and miss it!

Oh, those Chipotle burritos! I'll admit, I can eat an entire one too. I hear ya about missing the Sirius radio - I have that, and XM, and just cannot go back to regular radio!

I hear ya on the busy aspect chica. I'm trying to hurry and get things done before the fam arrives. Hope you get all your chores done..or at least one monkey shows up to help.

You're hilarious when you are tired and busy.

Seriously, what is up with the laundry? Same thing here. There are only TWO of us. I have been doing laundry for THREE days in a row and still have two piles sitting there. It's never ending.
