The Damages

Yesterday, I dropped the Escape off at the body shop so they can fix this: And this:
And this:
And they thought it shouldn't take too long, and I might even have it back by the middle of next week. In the meantime, I got a PT Cruiser as a rental. Driving it makes me feel like I aged 35 or 40 years and I feel like I should be haggling with the grocery store cashiers about the cost of soup and complaining that the kids never come to visit. But, hey, at least I don't have to pay anything for it (so far, going through the other driver's insurer -- Geico -- has been easy and uneventful).

After class yesterday, I went for a quick 3 miler, and then I got ready for an evening of Rock Band 2:
We drank some beer, ate some sloppy joes, and rocked out!
We rocked until after midnight, and combine that with a few too many beers for Jess, and you have the formula for a pounding headache this morning. Oh well, that's the price of Rockstardom.

Rock Band is fun!

Glad the car might be done mid week. It doesn't look like the damage was too significant. Yay.

LOL about the PT Cruiser - my mom (age 60) drives one, although it is a convertible, so I guess the "cool" factor is upped just a teeny bit.

Glad to hear the car is being fixed without a hassle!

Sorry 'bout the car. That sucks.

Rockband is probably the greatest thing 4 people can do that doesn't involve any testing before or after.
