They're Baaaaack

After a few week hiatus, the little black gnats that plagued my runs a month ago have returned. So, on my 5 miler this evening, I ran through cloud after cloud of bugs, and endured them flying into my eyes, nose, and mouth. That definitely was the "suck" factor of the run; however, the rest of it went fine. Forgot to start the Garmin though, and didn't realize it until I was just past the first mile, so I don't have accurated digits for the miles.

But, now I need to skedaddle -- I'm typing during the commercial break of "Project Runway" -- and Heidi is back on now so it's runway time, folks!

Yeah that definitely sucks. You might just have to get up and run in the morning again ;)

eeewwww! little black things to fly into your mouth, eyes, everywhere. Blech.

I agree with Kevin. Maybe you want to think about switching your running to the AM for good?!!

ugh I hear you! I went for a walk last night and didn't see them coming and think I swallowed some- they were ALL OVER the place....must have been the rain eh?

Look at the bright side. You won't have to carry any Gu on the run any more :-)

I would draw the line at those little flying teeth you have down there though...

Yuck, those bugs sound awful.

Ugh...bugs. Just think of them as protein if you happen to ingest a few.

I hate those flies. We had a beautiful waterfront trail along Lake Ontario in Whitby but I rarely run there because of the stupid bugs!

thankfully i have not had to endure those this year. here they arent gnats, but those stupid little black 'lovebugs'

So glad Project Runway is back! Had to go private on the blog. If you like, send me an email to margosmarathon@gmail.com and I'll get that setup this weekend.

*heebie jeebies*

Those are the worst. How in the hell my cleavage seems like a perfectly attractive death bed to them is beyond me.

The best is when you blow your nose and find out how many kamikazeeed in there ;-).

Happy running Jess!

OMG the funny thing is just by the title post I knew who you were talking about. LMAO! I am doing PR 2nite since I am skipping the bike ride. I hope there is some great fierce designers.

The gnats have returned to NC too. When I got back from my run they were all over the place, so gross.
