Fall: Back

With the time change, by the time I got home at 6 pm, it was dark. It kinda sucks this time of year because with Daylight Savings, the days feel shorter and darker (but I know it's not as severe here in FL as it is for those in the northern states). So, when I got home, I quickly changed into my running clothes and hit the pavement. Logged four miles today and they felt really good. It felt like it was late when I got home, but it was only supper time. Now I feel like I should be in bed, but it's only 8! I'm all thrown off.

I totally agree with you. The time change sucks. It's great to get the extra hour of sleep, but it's dark too early.

I hear you on the darn time change! Nice thing was that it was light out this morning when taking my usualy 7:30am, 35 mile commute to the middle of nowhere, passing beet trucks on a two-lane highway!

I felt the same way last night. It was dark by the time I made it home from work which psychologically makes the day at work seem that much longer. I didn't mind not having to stare into that firey ball of light on my way to work but coming home, it was too low for the visor and sunglasses made it too dark. I need a job that I have to travel north/south for rather than east/west.
