Skipping

I am now officially done with classes for the term. Now, I just have two classes' worth of essays to read, their final grades to calculate, and then I'm home free! The end is near, my friends, very near!

So, after class today, I went and did some more Christmas shopping, and with the exception of one more thing I want to get Jerry, I am done with that too! Woo-hoo!

Because the shopping and wrapping dipped into my evening, and because my quads are still a little sore from Sunday's HM, I decided to skip a run this evening. Instead, I'm gonna have dinner with the Jer-Bear and try to convince him that we should each open just one Christmas present this evening. Just one can't do any harm, can it?

Nice work on knocking out all the Christmas shopping!

Only one? If you open two, then you may get another one, because the remaining pile will just be a bit too small.

Strategery!

Great that the semester is almost all wrapped up for you. LOL at sneaking a present it is like the
9th right ;-)

You are too funny. My hubby ALWAYS wants to open gifts early- ALWAYS. You guys would never work together- you'd have all of your gifts opened before they're even wrapped! ha!

Wise move on the rest day, you deserve it!

Don't do it!! You know you can't just do 1.

If you do it, then I will lose my own resolve to hold out til Christmas!

I am a firm believer that YOU CAN'T OPEN PRESENTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!

Enjoy your dins and nice job (almost) finishing your shopping & school stuff!

Jealous. Seriously, I know I have a ton more gifts to buy, a tree to decorate, and have done no wrapping. I'm so scrooged this year.

done already with classes? wow.

i'm all happy because today I STARTED my shopping. And I got most of it done (all at once). Only have to buy for the kids (okay, so that's stressful) and stockings (easy peasy)

Pawn any of the real work off on TA's.

One present is certainly a good idea, if only to keep that Christmas spirit alive and well.

You sound like my sister with opening presents. As soon as she would buy my gift, she would start itching to tell me what it was. We would end up getting each other like 5 gifts.

Yay... we only have 8 more days of school left and the last one will be spent showing cartoon movies to the kids! LOL. And then we are off for two weeks!

Glad to hear things are winding down for you!

So, did you get to open that ONE gift?

it never occured to me that profs would be as excited for students for the semester to end. I think that is because I had a lot of evil teachers as a youngster. hope Jerry let you open up presents...if not you can convince Jerry to let you open one on Sunday, just to take with you on the road.

The way I look at it, most race schedules tell you to wait at LEAST a week to run again after a 1/2. You've earned it!

LOL... Patience!!

Eh, just open 'em all.

You should do the 12 days of Christmas so you get to open presents lots of days in a row!

Yay for end of term! And no, it doesn't usually snow in Louisiana! Like twice a decade I think...if it did it would be a flurry and then melt ;)
