Potter Break

Managed to take a brief break from Harry Potter to run my 4 miles this evening -- not much to report about the run; it was hot, humid, and buggy like always; however, I am continuing to enjoy the return of my tunes -- but now I need to get back to it! I'm trying to pace myself b/c I don't want to rush through the novel (it's the end, people, the end!) but I just can't help myself -- the story is so compelling!

See ya, homies, Potter is calling to me!

I've only seen the movies. Now that all the books are out, I may have to go on a binge :-)

I am trying to pace myself too. Such a good book but I want to find out what happens before someone blurts it out.

I've not read the books or seen the movies...does that make me some social reject?

I think it is great that you put the book down long enough to get 4 miles in though.

I've been waiting for the box set before I start reading any of them. Hey, what can I say, I like my books in boxes.

Nice run btw. (I love using btw it is so fulfilling)

The books are SOOOO much better than the movies! Not quite done with the final book yet, but almost there!

Jess, just wanted to let you know that my blog apparently is coming up as inaccessible except to people I invited. However, I was under the impression that people with blogs on Blogger could use it, too, until MPA emailed me to say she couldn't access it. So if you email me at brunettechicagogal@yahoo.com, I'll hook you up.

I actually finished the book already. The ending was great and rumors were not true... well that's all I can say.

I watched one of those Hairy Potter movies, but it didn't seem much like a kid's movie. The copier repair man had a pretty good time, though!

What I can tell you about the book is that it ends on the last page. Hope that doesn't spoil anything for you.

I know what you mean - I just finished a fabulous book in two quick days and now I'm sad it's over! Glad to hear your mp3 player issues are fixed ... hopefully for good this time.
