About Me

My Photo
My real life is a lot like THS (True Hollywood Story) except there's no fame, fortune, or drug addiction. Instead, I'm happily married, have two children, and a dog who's prone to barfing at 3 am. I love them all, but I also have to run away from them every day. I always run back, though.

Well, Jerry can sleep well tonight

because the camcorder arrived today! It's a pretty sleek little machine -- a far cry from the gargantuan video camera my grandpa had when I was a kid (I think that thing must've weighed as much as a 3 year old) -- I have munchkin-sized hands and it fits perfectly within my palm.
So, be prepared: Once Norah arrives, I will most likely inundate you with some incredibly dull footage of her that only parents truly cherish, but I will expect you guys to "ohhhh" and "ahhhh," so maybe you want to go ahead and start practicing your fake enthusiasm.

Oh, that reminds me: I have new running shorts that should be delivered soon. They should really help in this HEAT.

It's pretty and shiny!

Our camcorder died this summer. I've been thinking about getting a new one.

continue to enjoy your posts and the parallels between your pregnancy and mine...makes me feel like someone else understands what is going on here! I stopped running and switched to walking at 32 weeks too, this week I am really missing my running...

In an ironic twist I was looking at videocameras before I logged onto your blog and saw your current post.

Good luck and enjoy these last few days!

Ironically, I just posted on eBay this morning. I am selling a brand new Canon camcorder. I have bought it a year ago and rarely use it. I could have sell it to you. ;-)

That is a very cool camcorder you have. Make sure you post the video of your daughter on your blog.

Ooohh neato. You mean you dont want Jerry to lug around one of those ancient ones that used a full sized VHS tape? Its amazing how far technology has come

It's cute! Never thought I'd say "cute" to describe a camcorder.

And I can't wait for the videos!!

Yay for the camcorder! I use my camera all the time to take ridiculous videos and post on my baby blog.

Awesome having a baby is always a good excuse for more technology!

You know, if the camcorder didn't come before, it would have made a MUCH better story to tell the little one when she arrives.

Where are the videos of the puppy?
