This entire week, the running has felt forced. Still, Mon-Wed, I managed to run 5 milers each day, but today? Today, I just am NOT feelin' it...AT ALL.
Still, I got on my running stuff, got all ready, and got out there, figuring that I'd warm in to it, but 1 mile in, and I was ready to pack it in. So, I turned and headed home for a grand total of 2.06 miles.
I'm declaring it a "rest" day.

Forced runs are the worst. I wasnt feeling it last night and barely did two miles. I blamed it on the dog who was dragging behind but really... it was me dragging!

2 miles is farther than I usually get when my mojo is missing. On those days, I usually don't even make it out the door!
You're doing it wrong. Rest days are supposed to have NO running. Take it from a guy whose rest day has been every day for the last three weeks. Cheers!
I hear you. Not sure how you streak day after day. I am happy I stick to my 3 days a week. I wasn't feeling it today and literally forced myself to keep going.
