I'm less sore today than I was yesterday, but I still feel pretty stiff. My calves, especially, are killing me. I don't think I've been this sore even after running a marathon -- although, maybe my memory is just tricking me with that.
At any rate, I do plan to get a short, easy run in this evening after my night class. We'll see how that feels.

Nice job on the soccor. It's crazy how a little switch-a-roo with activities and your body is in shock. I always think "well, I run, so i can do anything." Then I take yoga and hurt for 3 days. sheesh!
Still sore, eh? Oh the games our body likes to play on us when we get out of our routines. I bet a run will be a welcome part of your day - for your body and mind!
I bet if you stick with the soccer your 5K times will improve.
Speedwork in disguise!
If jer-bear wanted to score points he'd be johnny on the spot with a calf rub, eh?
A short and easy run always makes my legs feel better :-) I think your "soccer" twitch muscles got worked over good!!
A nice little run should loosen you up nicely. Nice job on the soccer!
Have the hubby give you a rub down.
Good luck on your lil run today! Hopefully it will work out the kinks!
ouch! Take it easy.
I hope that run will losen things up. That is awesome you got such a fantab workout outta that soccer.
Oh, and in response to your post on my blog - yes, the review WAS favorable! Hooray!
How nice that you got some cross-training in with a sport that you enjoy doing!
I think you will feel much better after the run.
I thought of you this morning when I saw a lady running with a stocking hat on and a flannel over her running shorts. It reminded me of a lumberjack also. Something seemed very out of place. Maybe it was the palm trees and green grass?
Hope you're feeling better after your run!
Time to give everything a good sssstttrrrrreeeetttttcccchhhhhh!
