Approximate calories burned on three miles, Sunday evening run: 300.

Approximate calories consumed in post run dash to Dairy Queen (small cherry dipped cone): 340.

Score: Dairy Queen 1, Jess 0.

That's ok. You probably burned another 10-20 computing that info and then typing it out so it was more of a wash.

i tell myself it's not about calories burned but how fast running makes my metabolism... ;)

It's okay to have the ice cream - just in moderation. I can confess that I had a Ben & Jerry's cone tonight. It was REALLY good.
