We had a beautiful day today with clear skies and comfortable temps, and the fair was wonderful -- several barns full of animals, a big petting zoo, a HUGE midway, and all kinds of fun shows. We had a great time, so here are a few pics of some of the highlights.
Here's Norah practically kissing a baby goat. She luh-ved the petting zoo barn; we must've fed those goats a pound of carrots!
The petting zoo barn also had non-traditional fair animals, like a zebra, a tortoise, ostriches, and some kangaroos! Below is Norah feeding one of the kangas.
I wish we had also brought the video camera because each time Norah fed an animal, and they scarfed up the carrots, she'd say "yum, yum!" It was so dang cute!
Aside from getting to pet a huge variety of animals, Norah also got to go on a pony ride. Her expression in the pic below seems to suggest that she's scared, but really I just snapped her mid-"wow."
We also got to see a great dog show, Norah played some midway games and won herself a little stuffed bear, and of course, no trip to a fair would be complete without consuming a plethora of fried food. Here's Norah enjoying her funnel cake.
So, all in all it was a great Saturday!

Looks like a ton of fun. There is nothing like a fair through the eyes of a child. Cute pictures!
Now she has to go to the Minnesota State Fair and eat about ten things on a stick. :)

Fairs are always great fun. Glad Norah liked it so much. My favorite part is seeing the animals too.
