So, because we have also recently turned our guest bedroom into Norah's room, we decided to get a new couch for the office, specifically, one that has a sleeper in it to accomodate the guests who we expect to have after Norah is born. We bought the couch last weekend, but Jerry didn't get to pick it up until yesterday. So, here it is:
It's microfiber, so we're hoping the more durable fabric will hold up better against the couch's primary occupant, the dog:
Plus, with the queen sized pull out, it should work well for whoever comes to visit us (and since it's in the office, they can still close the doors in there and have some privacy, so it's not quite as bad as sleeping in the living room).The other decorative objects that arrived yesterday were some shelves for Norah's room that we'd ordered, so Jerry hung them last night, and they look good over her crib.
Of course, we have very little to put on them at this point, but I'm sure that they'll fill up quickly.In non-decorative news, I did get out for a short run last night, but it started to rain on me, so by the time I got home, I was pretty soaked. I am pretty done with all this rain; I think we've had enough!

The new couch looks great! We have a microfiber couch, and LOVE it. It is such a breeze to clean, and so far we've tested that out with various pet bodily functions (drool, urine and cat puke to be specific).
Love your new couch! I desperately need a new one, hopefully after the wedding.

The new couch looks great and it appears Scooter approves of the new digs as well. It looks pretty nice with the blue walls.

We bought a microfiber couch 5 years ago, and it's held up great.
LOL we have a microfiber and it does work good . . . at least until the kiddies are mobile with their drinks HAHA!
