Not Interested in the Worm

I am not so good at this whole "getting up early to run" business. And for the past week and a half, I have been hit and miss with actually getting up and getting the runs done early in the AM. Thus, today was a miss. The alarm went off, I shut it off, and I snuggled back into the sheets with barely a second thought.

Guess that means I have to do it tonight now.

In other news, I broke down yesterday and bought Stephenie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn." I was gonna wait until I was done with class (tomorrow!), but then I just couldn't hold out anymore! I read the first 40 pages or so last night. Which is barely a dent in its 7oo something pages. It'll read fast though. Especially after tomorrow afternoon since on Thursday and Friday I only have 3 things to do: run, bowl, and read. Folks, I think that's called heaven.

The worm is over rated until it becomes so routine you don't know what it's like to sleep in past 5am. That habit, my friend, takes more than 21 days to adjust to.

PS-I find this funny. My word verification today is budowt (Bud Out). Guess I find humor in the dumbest things but it made me smile.

The worm is totally overrated! ;>)

I'm a bit out of the loop on this book. I love to read... what's the deal on this book? (I really don't live under a rock!)

Good luck on the run tonight - getting up in the a.m. is so difficult. Hope you don't melt tonight! :)

I'm going to have to start the twilight series. My to read list is growing because of you. Are you on goodreads.com?

OMG, two days to just run, bowl, and read. That does sound like heaven, especially since you have a good book to read.

I can't get up early to run either. I'm lucky if I can make it up 10 minutes earlier than my kids and get a shower in.

I blame you for this addiction.

Saturday night: Picked up a copy of Twilight.

4 a.m. Sunday morning: Turned to page 450 of Twilight

This morning: Picked up New Moon.

I'm never reading another Jess-book again. I'll never leave the house :-)

Good luck on tonight's run!!!

my husband gets up 5 times a week at 630 to go running. i use him as my excuse not to do it in the am, because someone has to be here to get the kid ready for camp/school/whatever. that's hard on your soul man. and don't worry- it takes a lot to get on my shit list. this has been going on for years- which means i must be the idiot for putting up with it :)

I've heard of that series by Meyer. I'll have to give it a read.

Also, are you a reader of Alice Sebold? The Lovely Bones, Lucky and the Almost Moon?

LOVE 'EM!!

Those a.m. runs are a pain in the ass. The only good thing is getting it out of the way and, for me, it's still dark out so I don't have to deal w/ lots of heat w/the humidity. Of course, I haven't done an a.m. run in a couple weeks now...

I may have to cave and buy a copy of Breaking Dawn. I don't know if I can wait for my copy to come in at the library...I'm number 100 in line.

OMG I feel kinda slow. It took me almost 5 minutes to figure out what you meant about the worm. I have to be up at 4AM to ride tomorrow on the trainer and its looking like next week may have to be 3:30AM
