The concert last night was really great (at the request of my concert-companions, "swawesome" has been put to bed -- after I told the waitress at dinner that a draft beer would be "swawesome," everyone pretty much had had enough), and the Foo put on one of the best performances I think I've ever seen: they played for a solid two hours, with a five song encore!
My only complaint? The show didn't get started until 8 pm, the Foo didn't hit the stage until 10 pm and we didn't get home and to bed until almost 1 am. That's pretty late for a school night, and this morning I am hurting for some more sleep.
I'll try and post some more details and pics later this evening, but for now, I need coffee. Lots of coffee.

Sounds like fun, Keep the coffee flowing today.
I know how you feel about the coffee. After last weekend with Lisa, even being a non-coffee drinker, I was very tempted!
Sounds like a rockin time ;D ;D Go get that coffee, baby!! It's going to be a long day LOL
All good things require sacrifice! Suck it up!!!
swawesome!!!
Sounds like a normal night of sleep to me.
Sorry about swawesome being laid to rest. Glad you had fun!
I need new shoes badly! I just need to find time (actually make time) to go and actually have someone tell me what kind of shoes I need :P
RIP, "swawesome".
I hope none of the students give you a rough time today, or they are likely to get a full dose of shut up!. Glad you had a great time, though! Pretty jealous.
Glad you had fun, I *heart* the Foo as well!
Face it, you're just an old lady. HAHAHAHA! Just joking. Like a 37 year old mother of 2 can call you an old lady. Glad you had a good time.
Random fact about me: I've seen Elton John in concert 3 times, more than any other performer (he's excellent, BTW) and yet I don't own a single album of his (my DH does, though). It wasn't until I met my DH in my early 20s that I even went to a concert. I had a pretty sheltered little life before I met my DH. The best concert was Billy Joel and Elton John together at Ohio State University. It was the weekend after we got engaged--and was fabulous.
It's it so hard to stay up late these days? I'm a wreck if I'm not in bed by 10pm at the VERY latest. I'm really more of a 9 or 9:30 girl. Pathetic.
Did someone say coffee?
Glad you had fun!!
I loved your new word. I used it twice yesterday and got some cross eyed looks. It must be the old lady in me, but I wish concerts would start at the time printed on the ticket. Glad it was swaesome! It always gets me through the day to picture myself head diving into the bed that night.
Can we say "Red Bull"?
