Veteran's Day Cont'd

Went for my run this evening as promised, and I did 6 miles. The miles felt good, and while it is harder to pull back the shorter hair (see post below), I did wear my visor, and it worked out pretty well (although, I think I had it a little tight because it kinda felt like it was squeezing my skull).

Anyway, here are the splits:

Mile 1: 10:04
Mile 2: 10:00
Mile 3: 9:52
Mile 4: 10:13
Mile 5: 9:55
Mile 6: 9:59

Total Time: 1:00:04

Nice run (despite the "skull squeezing")

Nice six miler, chica! Anything close to or under one hour ROCKS in my book! Having shorter hair presents a whole new set of stylish challenges, eh? :-)

great run Jess - are you embracing the Garmin now too?

I see you wore your Garmin. Your splits are great, and close together miles. Nice!

Nice, very consistent pace on that run. And I dig the haircut, too. The visor does okay containing it all at that length? If you like, it may be cooler for you next summer, which would be nice.

Skull squeezing is not a good thing. I think the hair cut makes you speedy, nice splits.

Look at you getting all speedy speedy!!

I was wondering the same thing as Wendy. You have Garmin love now?

I love your hair! A few months ago I got about 9 inches cut off, and I'm sooo happy I did. It was hard to get used to, but now I don't think I'll ever go back to long hair.

Great run! I haven't done over 5 miles since the week after Chicago. Need to get some runs in though since I'm doing a 10K with my dad on Thanksgiving.
