The running as of late hasn't been much in terms of distance, but I do have to say that I am returning to a more consistent routine. For now, that seems to be good enough.
For Monday? Another 3 miler down in the books.
Again, the cooler weather was nice; plus, with the time change and the seasonal change, it's nice to be able to run at 4:30 or 5 in the evening and be done with it early instead of waiting until 8 or 9 at night like I do in the summer. Seems like I have so much more time in the evening then.
Of course, I could also rise early and run first thing in the morning and have the evening completely open. Bah. Who likes to do that?

Consistent is good. Unless you are consistently doing nothing (like I seem to be lately). In that case, it is not so good.
Good job!!
Big kudos to you for getting out there and doing it! I haven't done any running in the last 3 weeks, but that'll change! Doing a combination of workouts and hopefully that'll help me be more consistent!
I'm a morning runner. I find it very difficult to get movin' in the afternoon.
Great job on your run.
You know me, I love my mornings!! LOL YOu gotta convert!
Not me! I'm an evening sort of guy too! :-)
Consistently is great. That means the more you get out there, the more you'll do it as second nature. Great run, sounds like a nice early evening run to wind down your day. I've got a 3 miler today too, and am looking forward to it.
Yay. I'm getting consistent as well. I didn't weigh in on Monday but did today and I'm a pound less.
the cooler weather is so nice...I'm with Marcy on the morning thing, too
I hear ya on the mornings! I only get up when I absolutely have to!
When you mentioned rise & morning in the same sentence...it took me back to a memory from my high school days. I used to stay over night at a girl friends and her dad used to come in to wake us up. He always called out cheerfully; "Rise and shine Girls! Rise and shine!" To which Karen would answer, "We might rise but we ain't gonna shine!"
