Drinkin' Beers

The thing about drinking beer which makes sticking to a healthy diet so difficult is not necessarily the beer itself (although it doesn't help), but instead, it's the cravings for salty, fatty foods that immediately prompt you to seek a Taco Bell drive-thru: That's what ruins the healthy eating.

Last night at bowling, I had me some beers (and it did help my game), and then afterward my husband and I hit the drive-thru. It's no surprise that I ate too much icky taco (seriously, it wasn't even very good, yet I kept stuffing my face) and then went to bed feeling bloated and fat. Not very good for a girl who's trying to be a speeding bullet -- chubby bullets don't go as fast.

Oh, I hate that feeling as well! But beer and yucky food is oh so good... like nachos, or pizza, mmmm... making me hungry!

I came home last night and had to finish off the three Wild Grape Smirnoffs in the frig... Tasted great, but I could do without the carbs and carbonation! Fortunately for me I didn't get the munchies though.

I had Taco Bell the other night and it was icky too. How did such a lustrious food lose it's ability to satisfy? Is it because I made it mad at me when I stopped eating it regularly? Or is it because I called it Taco Hell one too many times? Oh sweet nachos, crunch wraps, burritos, tacos, etc....please be nice to me next time I frequent your home!

Just remember, chubby bullets may not go as fast, but they cause more destruction! Especially to innocent mud puddles that may lie in their path.

Have you tried Michelob Ultra yet? I love it because it's low in calories and carbs....plus that's what they give away at the races. **smile** The amber version is AWESOME and I highly recommend it.

As for the Taco Bell, no comment. I have STAYED far away from it. I had it a month and it left me very bloated. I only like Chipolte now's tacos and burritos. Yum!

I LOVE TACO BELL! I have been Taco Bell free for two years. It is my addiction so I don't dare even go within smelling range of it.
