This evening, Jerry, Scooter and I went for a long walk, and we were on our way home, about a half a mile away, when the skies again opened up and poured on us. So, we figured, why not make a run for it again?
So, we ran the rest of the way home. Fortunately, this time, I was a bit more suitably attired for the run as I was wearing running shorts and my running shoes, but Jerry hadn't dressed as appropriately and he ran that half mile in his flip flops.
We arrived home soaked, in the same manner that we had ended up on Sunday, but I have to admit the run felt pretty good, and it really has me wondering if Mother Nature is trying to hint at something...
...hmmmm, I'll have to think on that.
When we got home, Jerry and I both changed into dry clothes, but Scooter chose to dry himself on the living room rug: I suppose it does kinda look like a giant towel, doesn't it?

Oh he is too cute!! Glad you got a little run in :)
Very cute. I cant believe how much it has been raining down there
What a cutie! As far as the running, you could always add a little run to one of your walks and see how it feels. Maybe now that you aren't feeling any actual pressure to run, you'll enjoy a little here and there. Not that I have any experience with that - by 34 weeks pregnant, I was waddling LOL.
Aww, I don't blame the little guy for rolling around on the rug. :o)
Scooter is a man of necessity :-)
what else is a wet dog to do?!?! :-)
Too cute!
That is every runner's dream to be running when its very hot. Toward the end, the cloud opens up and pouring rain comes. That is the best part and the best feeling! Sort of like Lipton Iced Tea plunge into the swimming pool at the end.
Mother nature continues to keep you honest!
Glad you didn't have flip flops on!
