My 7 miles this evening were a little wet, but otherwise, they went well. For some reason, it took me a long time to warm up and my legs didn't feel real loose until about mile 3, but once I turned around at 3.5 miles, I was feeling good and that carried me through the second half of the run.
I did get drizzled on, but it was alright: the rain brought some cooler temps and helped keep me from sweating to death. Now, I believe I will have a little snack, settle in for some "Top Chef" on Bravo, and then hit the hay.

Enough running...finish Potter already! ;>)
Great job on your 7!
Jesus Jess, you are a running maniac. Good work, you have ran more the last week than you did 3 weeks before that. Maybe you should reread all the Hairy Petter books, there might be some correlation.
great job on the seven...warm-up?!? was it not hot enough for you? rain on a run is nice... glad to see you are back in the game now.
Seven in the evening is always tough! You did a great job! A little rain helped cool things down eh? Really cool :-)
LOL I'm with Wendy! Warm up?!? I love running int he rain (provided there is no thunder or lightening LOL)
Wendy and Marcy: Yes, the temps outside are warm enough, but what I guess I meant was that my legs felt stiff and leaden. Plus, I sometimes find I can't find my right level of breathing until a mile or more in.
Nice job on the run! Sounds like it was a success! Wahoo!
Great job, Jess!
Sounds like a great run to me. I wish we'd get a nice, warm rain here in the drought-striken Michigan area.
I find it takes me a few miles to really feel good in my legs too! Awesome 7 miles you had!
That sounds like a great run! I have the same problem with my breathing and have really been struggling with it during my entire runs lately. Not fun :P
