Happy V-Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! What are your plans?

My husband and I are still up in the air about what we're doing. Originally, we'd planned to make a nice dinner at home, but because we are currently remodeling our kitchen, and it's a disaster, we might choose to go out. Of course, last minute dinner-out plans on V-Day pretty much guarantees that we'll be expressing our love over burgers at McDonald's -- but what do I care? If I don't have cook, I'm pleased.

P.S. 4 days until the half marathon that I feel totally under-prepared for.

You ran a marathon for God's sake...the half one should be a breeze!

You know you can do it. We are all rooting for you.

ohhh nice a kitchen remodel! you will have to post before and after photos! or at least after! that is on our wish list to remodel our kitchen. I think you can finish this half easily, and you may also be surprised how quickly you do!

Yeah, I ran a marathon, but that was already 6 weeks ago, and I really haven't done many long runs to prepare for this half: that's why I'm a little nervous about it.

And the kitchen? Well, it's just part of the total-condo renovation that started when we bought the place nearly two years ago: Someday I'll live in a place that is actually finished!

Happy Valentine's Jess! I hope whatever you and your hubby chose to do, it was just nice to spend the time together!

I will probably pick up a box of chocolates when I go out in the sub-zero temps to run some errands...and eat them while drinking a nice tall glass of wine..If I don't fall asleep before 7!

I had a date tonight with my gym. It was sweaty and involved some grunting. And afterward, I felt all flushed and exhilarated.

Hee hee. Gotta use my imagination on days like V-Day!
