Boremill

bore'mill (bor'mil) n. A machine designed for the ease and convenience of running that inadvertantly creates almost universal running lethargy in users. Frequent users may find that the machine's reptition and tedium induce intense user boredom and unusual fatigue.  Especially on a rainy Monday morning (which, for 8 academic years has always been a holiday, but was determined this year to NOT be an academic holiday) when the user slept poorly.

Such users may find that instead of running an intended 6 miles, he or she can only eek out 3, and even that may feel strenuous.

Users of this nature may be named Jess.

Yeah, I haven't run on a treadmill in ages... it does kinda kill me, but TV and a big ol' fan would help a lot...

Treadmills are the worst, but hey, three miles is better than no miles!

Hmm, I think I have one of these boremills you speak of...

What, you didn't get Constitution Day off? Must be rough! J/K.

With your comments about treadmills, I have run different days this week to avoid them while away on work this week.

We just moved ours to sit in front of the large TV in the basement. I have a pile of TV shows on DVD and my favourite movies to catch up on so the boremill has become my TV time, which with a 3 and 1 year old is not very much (as you know)!
