Sunday Six

This morning, I ran a 6 miler at a pretty consistent pace:

1: 10:28
2: 10:21
3: 10:26
4: 10:33
5: 10:33
6: 10:21

Total Time: 1:02:45

So, I was pleased. And I felt that I justly deserved a McGriddle from McDonald's. Normally, I almost never eat fast food, but for some reason, the McGriddle was calling to me today (and it doesn't help that I passed McDonald's twice on my route), and because the Garmin told me that I burned 800 calories on my run, I felt I deserved the 500 calorie breakfast sandwich. It was delicious.

Lastly, as a funny domestic aside: This morning, when I left for my run, I left Norah in Jerry's care and she was still in her PJs and I told him that he could decide what she was wearing for the day. When I got back, she was just in a diaper. Nothing else.

So, I guess to Jerry, "clothes" = a diaper. I suppose next time I should be a little more specific with my instructions ;)

Nice job on the run!

LOL at Jerry. Around here, letting the hubs decide what the kids will wear pretty much guarantees that there outfit will clash. Since I can't stand that someone might think that *I* chose to dress them that way, I put out clothes before I leave LOL.

great job on that run! you certainly deserved that McGriddle.

LOL @ Jerry. It is the same way at our house. I have left in the AM only to return in the afternoon and the kids are still in their PJs.

lol at Norah's attire. But you did say Jerry could decide....

GREAT job on the run and the consistant pace! When I come home from school every day, 9 times out of 10 the boys are in t shirts and diapers. no pants. I guess it makes the diaper changes easier? haha!

Great times! I have a question on the Garmin. Is it pretty reliable? How often does it not work because of the satellite? I am currently using the Nike+ ipod thingy and don't have to worry about whether it will have a connection, but don't have access to mapping. Is the mapping something that you find yourself using a lot? Anyone who uses a Garmin, I would appreciate your input! Thanks!

Great run!
I guess diapers can be considered a very casual outfit itself, just for the baby crowd. (smile)

Great job on your run. It was pretty nice out there this morning. I wish I would have gotten in my run in the a.m. but I was busy stuffing my face with stuffed french toast. Mmmm...

Haha. I never let Daddy dress Brooke :) He either puts her in dirty stuff he finds laying around or in stuff that doesnt match. A friend of mine's husband will put a dress on her daughter, every time. Just to play around the house. At least with the diaper only you had options and didnt have to redress her ;)

Ah, men.

Way to go on the run! LOL to Jerry's idea of "dressing" :)

Ryan has the same sense of style with Miller. Usually though it's a top and no bottoms or vice versa.

Efficiency over Style - I like it!

Excellent run! I too am laughing at Jerry. I'm also willing to bet the cost of a McGriddle that his outfit wasn't too much more than Norah's. I'm guessing shorts and maybe a T-shirt?

Is it a Y-chromosome thing? Walter never wanted to dress the kids in anything more than a diaper either. He said it was a waste of time and energy, unless he was taking them out somewhere.

Something to be said for efficiency though

Nice job on the 6 miler!

My husband does the same thing. Or he'll put regular clothes on for pajamas. Or shirts on backwards. Even though all the clothes are hanging in the closet in outfits . . .

Nice sixer!

A diaper... haha. My husband would totally do that!

Rich loves the McGriddles but for some reason there's just something strange about them to me so I stick to the McMuffins. Great job on your 6 miler!
