It was a perfect morning for running here in the nation's capital, and I joined my fellow 26,000 runners for a great race! I had a good time, felt good, ran a pretty consistent race, and finished in my approximate timeframe.
Chip times haven't been posted yet, but my Garmin time for 10.22 miles (yeah, did me some swerving there!) was 1:41:56. I had hoped to finish in under 1:40, but I'm not at all disappointed in the finish time: DC is hilly and the race was crowded.
Anyhoo, I'll post a longer, more detailed report with pictures when I return to FL. Right now, I'm gonna go have lunch with my dad, then pack up my bags, and get ready for my afternoon flight home.

Congratulations and well done. I went on the website, wow! I had no idea it was such a huge race. I have never ran a 10 miler, but maybe I'll target this one sometime. Look forward to the full report.
