Semi-Wordless Wednesday

Recently, Norah figured out that if she wants something off the kitchen counter, she can push a chair over to the counter, climb on the chair, and reach what she wants. Like, if she's hankerin' for a chip before dinner, for example...

On the one hand, I think it's super cute that she's figured out how to do something like this. On the other hand, I thought it was gonna be a LOT longer before she could get at things at this height!

Wow, she's really getting to be a big girl, just in time to be a big sister!

When S was 3, he stacked a stool on top of a chair and got a juice box off of top of the refrigerator.

Just sayin'

That IS super cute! When my kids started doing that, I started "hiding" things I didn't want them to get a hold of. Only problem was that I forgot where I "hid" them many a time.

That is kinda awsome! Where there is a will, there is a way :) Not that it is the same thing, but my gf's cat has now figured out that he is allowed (not really) to jump on the kitchen counter to find remnants of delicious food items and or knock things off the counters. At least Norah is not throwing stuff off the counter... yet :)

Look at her go! Very smart little thing. Can't really blame her... I wouldn't be able to resist a bag of Tostitos on the counter before dinner either.

My son was climbing all of the time at her age. I found him a lot of time in the kitchen cabinets where I thought I had things safe from him.
