One Month

Hard to believe that Caleb is already a month old.

In the past month, we've re-accustomed ourselves to 3 am wake-up calls and the explosive nature of baby poop.  We're also learned the differences between changing a boy's diaper versus a girl's -- essentially?  Duck and take cover!  Because he will pee on you, himself, the wall, and any other nearby objects or observers.
On the whole, he's a sweet baby, who's starting to give us a few genuine smiles.  He has his days where he's a demanding fussbucket, but let's face it: Who doesn't have days like that?
And like all kids -- no matter their age -- he's cutest when he's sleeping.

Oh how I wish your blog had smell-o-vision! ...for the new baby smell not the pee and poop smell. ;-)

...missing those days!

FYI: at almost 3 yrs, my little guy now tries to pee on our dogs too via peeing off the deck. Poor dogs.

I can't believe it's been a month already! He is a cute baby and is starting to get some human traits. Too bad they appear about the time you go back to work. :(

As for peeing...they never outgrow the inability to hit the target (I am sure Jerry has demonstrated that on occasion.)

The next big thing...Norah's 2nd birthday! Any plans or themes yet?

After one pee to the face, I learned the importance of the strategically placed wash cloth. Just sayin'

You and Jerry make cute kids!

Ooooh, missed this post.

He looks so cute! Didn't know the peeing in the air thing is true. Wow.

cute photos

when my son was an infant, we joked that he didn't like the color of the walls as he was always trying to make them yellow...

Great pictures. I found that placing a washcloth or cloth diaper on his equipment when I changed my son's diaper. It saved us from having an artificial pee-shower.
