Early A.M. Run

This morning, both Caleb and Norah were up at 5:45.  Caleb I could feed and put back to bed, but Norah was determined to be awake, so I gave her a choice: Go back to bed and sleep some more or go for a run.  She chose to run.  Me?  I would've have taken the sleep, but run we did.

It was humid, and running with the stroller is always a bit harder, but I got 3 miles done.  And, that little bugger stubbornly stayed awake the whole time.

As much as I would've liked to have gone back to bed for another hour, I have to admit that it feels good to have the run done for the day, and it's 7 A.M. and not only have I already run, but I'm also showered and dressed!  Pretty much a record.

Nice job on the run. I hate getting up early to run, but I always am glad I did it after. So nice not to have it hanging over your shoulders for the entire day.

That's pretty impressive. Norah may be your morning coach!

Wow, yeah. I would have taken sleep too. Norah is a better person than both of us.

I do think it is cool that she is old enough that you can give her options now!! very cool

The morning runs are tough to start but once you are all done for the day it feels fabulous! Sorry about Norah not sleeping in I totally know how that goes!

Yay for the victory this morning!

Fair warning, it's not always safe to listen to the kids. But Norah seems to be a good motivator.

I love those morning when you do it even though you don't think you want to. Only to find out after that you love it and now you feel so ahead of the game all day long!

Yeah for Norah-tivation!

I love getting my run out of the way early like that. I don't guess I'm every going to get used to pushing a stroller, it still kicks my butt!

Nice job! That's the nice thing about getting up that early, you feel like you're ready for the rest of the day. I hope it's a good one!
