Full Time Mom

This is my first official week of summer break and full time momming has kept me busy the last few days, but so far, it's going pretty well and we've been enjoying some summer-time fun: the park, the indoor play area at the mall, Mommy and Me class, and the pool. So, I haven't had much time to post in the last couple of days, but I have been doing my runs!

On Monday and today, Norah and I went for typical 3 milers with her in the BOB. Thankfully, it's been a bit cooler this week than it was last week (80s instead of 90s), so the running isn't quite as miserable. And, last night, I played raquetball. I played five games with 3 different people and I won 1 game. So, I have a success rate of 20%. Fail. However, it was still fun -- even if one of the court's A/C seemed to be out and we were sweatin' like whores in church.

Now, my Garmin has still not arrived and I thought I was gonna have it by the end of last week. Should I call customer service and demand to know where it is? Or, should I try to be patient for another day or two? I feel as though my patience is just about out in terms of running without a Garmin. Get it? RUNNING out of patience? Heh.

Oh lord, being with a 9 month old all day has already rotted my brain.

Does Jerry know you keep mentioning this "BOB" in many of your posts?

I am insanely impatient, so I would probably call to just check and see where Garmy was. Good luck, hope it gets there soon!

I'd call customer service. I'd want to know where my Garmin was too!

I hope you enjoy the full-time mommying this summer!

Also hope that Garmin arrives soon. I'd follow up!

I'd say a follow call is in order. If you wait too long you may be too upset to put polite words together! We are talking about a Garmin and your running stats here. Don't they understand!

If I'm any indication, your brain will be mush by the end of the summer. ;o)

Enjoy your summer!

If you package didn't arrive when you expected it, I would suggest calling. They should be able to track it and see what's up.

All that aside, I think it's hilarious that your GPS device seems to be lost in transit.

Enjoy your one-on-one time with the little one.

I was hoping you would write about your Garmin because I am thinking of buying the same one, I have never had one and would like to find out what you think of yours when you finally get it and use it!

Give it another day or two. Do they have a tracker for your order? Most websites do that.

Enjoy your summer vaca...hopefully you continue to bless us with cute pictures of your little one!

If you're thinking whether or not to call, go ahead and just make it. As soon as you pick up the phone, I'm sure it'll show up. That just seems to be how it often happens.
Enjoy your break!

I would wait another day or two before you go off on them :) Summer break sounds fun! I am sure Norah makes it that much better. Racquetball... hella good cross training.

Eh, call customer service. I'm of the thinking the squeaky wheel gets the grese.
So jealous of your summer vacay - almost* enough to become a teacher.

*Notice the word is almost - you guys work too hard! Enjoy the start of a great summer!
