This morning, Norah had her 6 month check up and here are her current stats:Height: 26 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs 9 oz (30-something-th percentile)
Cuteness: Unmeasurable (100th percentile)
So, she's average in height, a bit below average for weight (but still perfectly normal), and off the charts in cute-ability.
Her growth has slowed in the past two months, which the dr. said is normal for babies to kinda level off after the first few months. And, let's face it: I'm a Smurf-sized person, so any "average" genes she has for height or weight come solely from Jerry's side. If she reaches an adult height that exceeds 3 apples high, it'll be a triumph of my family's genetic code.
Personally, I really hope that as an adult, she's at least average in height, but Jerry says that to him, it doesn't matter because he thinks small women are cute. Guess that's part of my appeal ;)
Anyhoo...Everything else checked out fine: She's healthy in all regards and on track for development. She does have very dry skin that comes and goes with severity and she does have a perpetually goopy right eye because of a clogged tear duct, but nothing can be done about either at this point, and both are superficial, so on the whole, just another basic dr. check up!

Dry skin. I have a lotion that the dr said to use. (Not presp.) I will check the name of it and get back to you. It works wonders!
Blocked tearduct. Did dr. say to massage in that area lightly? I don't want to say what my dr said is what you should do but maybe call his office and ask?!?! Just a thought.
My littlest has that same learning computer...only in boy colors! ;-) He puts it beside Daddy's computer and "types." So cute!
She always looks like the perfect little doll. Glad she is so well and came through her check up with a perfect score!

I just had my daughter's 2 month checkup today. She hated the shots.

Smurf-sized? Really? In your pictures you look pretty normal. Maybe you're just standing next to other smurf-sized people.

Is she laughing in that picture? Or just flirting with the camera? Either way she is super cute! Glad to hear her well child exam was terrific.
She is adorable! Nothing wrong with small girls! I am short and my daughter is really small for her age. The only real problem is that I have to bring all my pants to be taken up and that gets expensive. :)

You do realize the goopy eye is a godsmack to Jerry and his weirdness about touching eyes. Hopefully once he gets over his squirmishness, it will disappear.

My Mom is a shorty while my Dad is average, and all of us kids ended up on the tall side. I'm 5'8" and both of my "little" sisters are much taller than me. You just never know!
Cuteness: 110% :-) I like small women too. Dee Dee is 5 something... on the low side... ROFL...
So cute! Sophie has always been way on the low end with her weight and off the charts with height (and cuteness, too) - not sure where she gets the height from, but if it's her lot in life to be tall and skinny, she is a lucky girl.

Ah, she's wearing the little bear shirt Rylee gave her - definitely 100% in cute-ability!
My nephew has scalded skin syndrome. Once his skin was finally healed the doctor at Pittbs. told my sister to use CeraVe. It is a little expensive but works great! I use it on my little one just for dry skin.
