Computer Still Dead

Yup, the computer is bogged down with viruses and while we've been trying our best to cure it, we may have to surrender to calling in back up. We'll see. For now, it's a pain because I'm at home this week so I don't even have access to my work computer. I can do some web stuff from my phone, but not everything, so pardon my absence from your blogs.

So, in other news, I got a prenatal yoga DVD that I did for the first time yesterday, and I liked it. The workout was challenging enough to leave me a bit sore today (especially in my butt!), but not so tough that I couldn't keep up. I think I'll try incorporating it a few days a week when I'm not running.

Today, I am gonna run. It's nice and cool out so I should have pleasant weather for it.

Then I have to meet Jerry at Home Depot because I think we're gonna buy all new kitchen appliances. See, our microwave died about 3 weeks ago (it was 10 years old), and our dishwasher is making a funny smell when it runs (and it was a hand me down from friends who had it for awhile before us), and our stove has one burner that doesn't work. Amazing we didn't trade up earlier, right?

Well, we've been reluctant to spend the money, even though we have it, because of the forthcoming baby expenses. But, I think it may be wise to just go ahead and get them, and the baby will just have to sleep in an empty dresser drawer :)

Okay, this has been a lot to type on my phone, so I'm off! Cross your fingers the computer heals itself soon. I don't want to buy a new one of those too!

New appliances will look awesome in your updated kitchen!

I agree with Wes. Isn't a computer a kind of appliance?

Computer heal thyself!

LOL at the "sleep in a drawer comment". I remember a Simpsons episode where the child of a teen character proudly announced "I sleep in a drawer"
LOL at Marcy's suggestion..

Girlfriend, what is up with the appliances in your house? I hope you're able to salvage the computer. That's a lot to shell out all at once.

New baby = new roof and exterior paint for us. It's only fitting that you would get new appliances (long time coming to finish off that beautiful kitchen). Baby Bear will appreciate it because a happy mom = a happy baby. Have fun purchasing!

Good luck wth the computer.

Prenatal yoga sounds like a great way to stay in shape during your pregnancy. Glad you liked it.

A few years ago our dishwasher, oven, microwave, and washing machine died within 2 months of each other! What a hassle!! But once you get new stuff, it's nice.

Hey, at least you are taking care of it before the baby comes. Shoo came two weeks early, so our new roof was put on when he was a day old and that just sucked.

Hope you can figure out the computer thing.

I've never thought of saying, "computer heal thyself" but hey if it works I'll try it myself!

Now is the best time to be buying new appliances (since no body else is), so you can totally afford a new compy.

Also, you must have fingers of steel to type all this from your phone.
