Slow 3

Last night Jerry and I went for a run together: I made him swear, before we went, that he was gonna run with me and not just leave me in the dust. He swore, but his own condition was that he wanted to bring the Garmin along.

The run went fine, and it was nice to have someone to run with, but in the end, I had to learn the truth about our digits: 33:29 for a 3 miler. That's an average, according to Garmin, of 11:08/mile. I figured I was going about that slow as of late, but seeing it in actual, digital numbers kinda made me feel like poo.

Oh well, I'd better roll with it right? Because I'm likely to only get slower as Norah grows bigger!

Glad you had some company for your run. Slow or not, you are still running!

Hey, at least you are still doing it! Towards the end, you'll look back at this and think you were speedy. ;o)

The baby takes priority now and forevermore...get used to it. Your life is not your own. (But it's worth it!)

I agree, it's not that slow:) But it is slower than you are used to so I can see where that would be frustrating.

Don't worry too much about the times, at least you're still able to get out there!

Think about it like this - some people can't even run that fast without a little bun in the oven! You're doing great my dear.

Don't beat yourself up over your time...the most important thing is that you are out there still running!!! You'll be that much further ahead once the baby comes. Great job!!!

Its so fun that you can call her by her name. I almost slip sometimes but we're trying to keep ours a secret! And listen, be proud of yourself that you are still running. That is damn inspiring.

Thats where I'm running now - so it looks good to me! I'd hate to get beat by a pregnant lady in a race so I hope we dont meet up anytime soon...
