This afternoon I went for a 3 miler by myself, and I have to say, I feel like I was just puttering along. Thus, I finished in 30:05 for an average pace of 10:02/mile.
I know I should just be happy to be getting the miles in and to be healthy enough to be running during pregnancy, but sheesh, looking at that time just makes me feel sloooooooow.
Oh well, at least I did get it done. And tonight, I bowl! Our bowling team has been making a comeback in the past few weeks, and I have raised my average from 125 to nearly 135, so this sober bowling seems to be working out after all. Who knew? I sure didn't.

you continue to get out there and run even while pregnant, that's soooo awesome! who cares about your pace :) you are doing great!
have fun bowling!!
I am impressed that you are running. You aren't like some people (guilty look) that ate DQ 3 times in a day.
I would suspect that your times will gradually decline as the baby grows :-) Maybe we can chalk this one up to tired legs!
Don't get discouraged!! I am so envious that you are still running. Once my times declined, I got frustrated and have since moved to strictly elliptical and walking. Stay with it!!!
You're doing awesome still running girlie! Of course you're giong to be slower - duh! (Duh, in a nice way).
Sober bowling? I guess that happens from time to time. Have fun and kick butt.
Pace, shmace, you're out there doing it!
Good luck with the bowling.
I think that is still great time for a 3 miler!
Have fun bowling!
You are doing awesome to run while pregnant, and I think that's a great time for 3 miles!
I give you and Jerry crap (mostly Jerry) but it's because I am jealous. I am too lazy to even walk most nights. I wouldn't worry about a slower than average run. You are out there doing it. Give yourself some credit!
Its great that you are getting out there and running while the baby grows. Dont get too upset over times, they will come back down later
i think it's great that you're running during the pregnancy! Don't worry about your time--just enjoy yourself for now.
btw, enjoyed the 25 random things--did you get that from facebook? ;)
3 pregnant miles should count for 6!
Have fun bowling.
Just think of the slower times as base building. You are keeping your HR nice a low.
Way to get out there Jess.
Hey, don't worry about your pace. But I do have to say, your pace is pretty decent considering your condition. Just enjoy the time you're out there.
Hee hee, I posted similar thoughts this morning. Of course I'm just happy to still be running, but it's kind of weird watching the times get slower and slower!
Have fun bowling!
Just think how good a bowler you'll be once you can drink again! ;o)
Good job on the run!
I am going to echo what all of the others are writing, don't worry about pace, you are getting out there and doing it, and that is what matters. Have fun bowling!
No matter what the time... you did 3 more miles than I managed today. Good job!
That's good that you're up and running still! Keep it up!
It's like when I used to play pool. I was always bad the first game, then after 2 drinks I was a shark, then after that I went downhill fast. Stupid alcohol.
10mm is still great. I can't believe that with all the puking and napping you have any desire to even get out there. I am totally impressed.
That seems fast to me! I am working back up to my 6mph 5K after taking time off during the holidays! Keep going strong! :)
Perhaps the "sub par" 10:00+ pace means nothing and the Gods will reward you for getting out there and doing it.
I see high bowling scores!
hope bowling was fun.
Great job on the run.
It is still great that you got it done!
LMAO I'm with Carly! Running is a HUGE accomplishment while pregnant. I remember when I was preg with Cam I told myself "OMG I am SOO not going to gain as much weight this time around. My butt is totally sticking with exercise" Yeah not really. You're doing great ;D
sober bowling. who knew? hee hee
