Frantic

Holy crow, I've been busy today! So, I only have the ability to post in bullet points. Here's the breakdown:
  • Finished up the papers I had to read and returned them to students.
  • Finished my last classes for the next 10 days!
  • I *heart* spring break.
  • Technically, there are classes tomorrow, but I took the day off and got a sub because my brother and his girlfriend are going to be in town tomorrow and I wanted to be able to spend the day with them.
  • Because the aforementioned sibling is coming tomorrow, that means I spent my afternoon cleaning the house and re-washing the guest bed sheets (our guests last week only slept one night in that bed, but it weirds me out to not wash the sheets between visitors).
  • Went to my lab appointment and had more blood drawn. By the end of this pregnancy, I may be able to work up the courage to actually look at the needle, but so far, I'm just not brave enough for that yet.
  • Picked up the dog-puke comforter from the cleaners (the comforter is too big for our washer and drier and I find it easier to pay for drop-off laundry rather than go to the laundromat myself).
  • Finished writing my book review that was due today, and I sent it off. Nothing like procrastinating until the last minute with deadlines.
  • Ran 3 miles with Jerry.
  • Or, really, I should say that I started a 3 miler with Jerry, but I quickly gave him permission to leave me in the dust. Knowing that I'm holding him back stresses me out, and I'd prefer to just run slow and alone rather than feel like I have to run faster to keep up with him.

Now, it's 8:45 and in fifteen minutes, The Office and 30 Rock begin, and I'm so ready to sit back in the couch and just veg out!

I have put in over 40 hours in a three day period of time. I would love to do the bulleted checklist of accomplishments but so far, all I can muster up is a frantic plea that I make it to the weekend.

Enjoy your time with Matt and say hello!

Wow. busy day. It sounds like you get the "vacation after the vacation" that most people need. Enjoy your time off.

Sounds like you got a lot done!

Ok, a few things:

1. When you said, "You got a sub..." I thought you meant sandwich. LOL. What is wrong with me?

2. I get skeeved out too about not washing the sheets between guests. And I get annoyed when we have guests too often because I hate spending my time having to constantly clean for them.

3. I get anxious about feeling like I'm holding J back too. Which is one of the reasons last week I told him he needed to run the marathon on his own.

Glad that there was no puking in your day today.

Hey Jess sorry to hear that you are still dealing with this sickness stuff. Looks like the sane thing to do would be to move on a cruise ship till delivery....
I hope Scooter is back to chipper british self. Enjoy time with the bro. It seems you and jerry make great running pards non of this running drama like shane and I like to stir up :)

Phew, quite the day!

I've been having blood work every week with this dang clot and I *still* can't look! I don't think I ever will. *shudder*

Have a great weekend and SPRING BREAK! (I think all professions should have one...)

That's a pretty busy day there but hopefully you got to relax by nine. Although this lack of new episodes of The Office is starting to make me cranky. Come on!

The Office was a repeat, no ?

Way to motivate Jerry by allowing him to feel he is faster than you!

I'm the same way with needles. I'm fine having the blood drawn I just can't look at the needle going in. GAH! It gives me the heebie jeebies.

When do you find out the sex of the baby???? I am so excited I can't wait!!! Also I want to finish your quilt.
Also what are your favorite baby themes? Like puppies, jungle, gators...you get the picture. Or colors??? I know you need to know the sex to determine...hurry up!
Hope you are feeling better too...

Have fun with your Bro this weekend. I'm praying barfing is minimum to none.

Whenever our dog has an accident in the house (rare), I always feel bad and can't be mad at her b/c I know she tried to hold it but just couldn't. She usually does it near the door she goes out and tries to hide afterwards. She obviously feels bad...

Anyway, enough chit-chat about dog poop and dog barf.

Have fun with your brother!!!

Great job getting all that done! Your cruise looked like lots of fun. Hopefully things will calm down in the near future.

Does that mean there are people out there that wouldn't wash the sheets after someone slept in them?... Cause ewwww!!!
