Unless Caleb decides to make a dramatic 11th hour arrival today, it looks as though he's gonna let his due date come and go.
All weekend, so far, I've been barely able to contain my frustration. I'm doing my best to be as patient and accepting as possible, but it's not easy. I don't want to just sit around and wait, so we've been trying to keep busy with small activities relatively close to home, but while it's nice to keep busy, everywhere I go, I get asked questions and statements like, "When are you due? How do you feel? Wow, a full 40 weeks! You must be really uncomfortable right now! Oh, that baby is gonna be at least an 8 pounder!" This is from everyone: Neighbors, the grounds/maintenance guy of our community, strangers at the pool, a waitress at a restaurant, etc.
It makes me want to stay inside, in communicado.
Oh well, I know there is an end in sight: Even if he doesn't come on his own, by the end of the week, he's getting an eviction notice, and he'll have to move on out. This time next weekend, I know he'll be here. Patience, grasshopper Jess, patience.

I hope Little C chooses to make his appearance soon. May 30th would be a nice Birthday! or the 29th...
At this point, wait it out until Miller's birthday. June 4th isn't that far away :) JUST KIDDING!
Good luck, I will be thinking of you (sorry I haven't commented in awhile, still reading!!)
Oh my, I know how it feels to have your due date come and go! I must have walked miles the weekend Logan was due! And I didn't have an end date yet, they just told me I'd be induced somewhere around 10 days past my due date. I was due on a Sat and worked the full week after. Everyone I work with kept saying things like "so, you haven't had that baby yet, eh?" and I wanted to yell "does it look like I did?" Deep breathes and as much patience as you can muster. He'll be here before you know it.
Hang in there! I know it's hard, but try to enjoy the last few moments as a mom to one. He'll be here soon!
It's hard to wait. My first baby was 10 days early, second one three days late and it felt like 3 years. Can't wait to read the post where you announce the arrival!
Hope he comes soon!
HANG IN THERE!!! Hope his appearance comes soon :)
It will happen soon enough. Hang in there!
You're doing great hanging in there. Good luck!
I hear you! I'm 39 weeks and this little one doesn't seem to want to arrive any time soon. It's very frustrating! Good luck with everything and I hope to arrives soon, safe and sound.
Ugh! I know everyone has said this and I'm sure your sick of it but hang in there! I hope he'll be coming soon!
