Back at It

After nearly a week with no running, I finally woke up this morning feeling good, so I got out there for an early AM 3 miler. Granted, the running loosened some of that mucus up, so there were some phlegmy coughs and a snot-rocket or two, but that's why running after a cold or flu is good: It helps dislodge up some of that congestion.

Other than simply getting up and actually getting out there for the run, there's not much to report about it.

I reversed the "AM 3 Run" in my mind and almost swallowed my tongue thinking you got up an ran at 3 AM. Thank you coffee for helping me with my dyslectic thoughts!

Great job~

I did the same thing as Shannon- reversed "AM 3 Run" for some reason. Weird.

I'm glad you dislodged some of your ickiness! Nice job on the run... I have yet to work out in..oh....two weeks! Yikes.

Great job on getting out there - and I couldn't agree more! Love gettin' cleaned out on a run! :)

anytime AM and 3 are in the same sentence it inherently scares me.

Way to get out there. Did you take any pictures of the snot-rockets ? Better yet, let's see the video on those. :)

I love the nasal effects of post-illness running. Good job getting back at it. Cheers!

For a minute, I had thought you went out for your run in 3 in the morning. I was like "Wow, you are truly dedicated!"

Glad to see you are on the mend!

Glad to hear that it was 3 miles in the a.m. and not 3 a.m. miles! Ekk!

I like to the think of snot rockets as little booster jets that make me go faster...but that's me!

gotta love pre, mid and post cold running. even better ... they make gloves with "snot rags" on the finger. guess you dont wear glvoes much in FL, but you could get a pair just for the fun of it ;)

Yeah, I once told someone with a cold that she should just go out for a run to get that congestion out. She looked at me like I was crazy.
Good to hear you felt good enough to get out there!
