Beach Camping

This afternoon, we're headed to the Keys for a camp-tastic weekend. (And hopefully, we don't lock ourselves out of the truck -- like last time!)

Usually, when we go camping, we camp in the swampland northwest of here, but for this excursion, my husband, myself and several of our friends, will be heading to Big Pine Key for the weekend's camping. Should be fun!

So, I'll see ya on Sunday with a camp report. Have a good weekend everyone!

  5. Oh man, I LOVE camping. I miss it! (Another thing that having little chickens complicates!) I remember how good the food and beer tasted. We used to make this awesome apple crisp in a black kettle. Oh yum.

Have fun!! Drink a beer for me. I'll be racing so no beers....

  14. Sounds like fun--I went to the Keys a lot as a kid growing up in Miami. The down side is that the Keys are a sanctuary for the Florida state bird: the mosquito.
