My walking partner got stuck at icky work this evening, so Tuesday Walking was cancelled. I considered just taking the day off, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get an extra run in, so I went out and put in another 3 miles. My mp3 battery died at mile 2, so I had to run the last mile with only the voices in my head, but it still went well.
Again, I don't know times, but I still felt fast -- just like yesterday -- and that was awesome. I hope the momentum continues through the week. No, wait, scratch that. I hope it continues for the next 3 months. That would be sweet.
Awesome job, Jess!
ReplyDeleteGreat sneaking in a run! :) Its all that beer you gave up that is making you faster...or wait, its making you have voices in your head. HAHAAAAA
ReplyDeleteFunny how you aren't quite as good a singer once the music stops. Or is that just me?
ReplyDeleteThis whole run-by-feel thing is starting to intrigue me. Maybe I'll try it for a couple of weeks after this weekend's race.
Sounds like you had a lot of company after mile 2 :-) I rarely let my "voices" out! LOL.
ReplyDeleteso what do the voices in your head say, exactly? :)
ReplyDeletefrom way over here you look really fast. keep up the good looking really fast. that would be really sweet.
ReplyDeleteLMAO @MPA . . .yes inquiring minds would like to know.
ReplyDeletenice work, i need to try a run sans garmin sometime!
ReplyDeleteSorry Jess but I am glad you got a good run in. Icky work doesn't even begin to describe it. Hopefully I get out a little closer to normal time today-getting home after 9pm sucks.
ReplyDeletei hate those voices sometimes. hank williams was in my head the whole afton race singing "my bucket's got a hole in it" again.
ReplyDeleteI like the voices - they seem to be more productive than music.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing worse then running with the voices in my head. LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope you saw my reply to your question before I went all mental and deleted that post. I put that of course I want you silly. I want all of my virtual friends...it's the real ones that scare me. ;>)
I love those sort of runs. They are GREAT!!
ReplyDelete(They are better than the other kind of runs...sorry...I couldn't resist).
