Rained Out

I had initially planned to do my long run today, but it has been raining pretty steady since about 5 am and it is forecast to keep coming down this afternoon and evening. It's a not a warm rain either. It's cold and pretty miserable, so I'm postponing the run until tomorrow when it's supposed to remain cool but at least be sunny and clear.

In the meantime, it's just been a quiet, rainy day.

    Running in cold rain is the WORST...I've been skiping runs because of it too.

    I'm sorry! Hopefully tomorrow is nicer.

    As crazy as this sounds, I miss the rain. When it rains in AZ (hardly ever) it just smells like mud (water + dirt = mud). I miss the smell of rain in Michigan...

    cold rain is just as bad as it gets. there is NO WAY to dress for cold rain. last year, I did a 20 mile race in 33 degrees and rain. I think I'm still frozen from it. I hope tomorrow morning is clearer for you!

    I had scheduled a long run today too but it is colder than cold. I am going to do it tomorrow because it will be a whopping 26 degrees! I'll send you good running thoughts tomorrow!

    Isn't it almost as cold in Florida as in Vermont? It is seasonable here but I don't get the impression that is the case in Florida!
