This morning's 7 miler didn't go that great. First of all, I forgot to hit "start" on the Garmin, and I didn't notice until I was over a mile into the run; then, I didn't bring water with me because I was counting on drinking from a water fountain that's located in the park I run through, but when I got there, I discovered that the water fountain had been torn out. So, no water at all for 7 miles, and it was pretty warm out there. By the end, I was VERY thirsty.
But however sucky the run was, I still got it done, and when I got home, I showered and got to snuggle my "Bug," who was in a smiley, happy mood. Plus, Jerry actually dressed her in clothes this morning!
Doh and doh!
ReplyDeleteThis must have been the weekend for Garmin related illness...
Great job on the 7 miles. I hate it when I forget to start (or stop) my Garmin happens about once a month for me.
ReplyDeleteLoook at that cuuuute baby!!!!!!! And you! You both look great! How wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThe group I run with did 7 miles yesterday. I have a fuel belt with water bottles...and lost one of the bottles on a 4.2 mile run the other day! So I know how you feel, not being able to quench that thirst.
ReplyDeleteAnd your daughter is adorable!
I have yet to budget the Garmin into my running life. Trying Nike+ for now.
Sorry your 7 miles weren't dreamy - I get so mad at myself when I forget to hit start on my Garmin!
ReplyDeleteThat stinks about the run, but I'm just impressed you stuck with it! Nice job! 7 miles is triumphant!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture! What a happy baby!
Awesome run! The picture looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's nice to run without all the tech support. Just knowing you got those miles in.
Those darn Garmins! Great job on the run- boy 7 miles is a long way to go without a drink! They tore out a water fountain at one my favorite parks too...what a bummer. Hope this isn't a trend.
ReplyDeleteshe definitely looks like she is happy to have her mommy home with her ;)
ReplyDeletemy 16 miler was pretty crummy today, too! but hey, in my book, completion=success!!

ReplyDeleteWere you running on Pine Island cuz if so then I saw you this morning! I was heading to Tephord Park from Orchid Park (all over the place this morning)-I didn't honk cuz I hate when people do that to me.

Seven miles without water is the heat dang that's rough! But nice job on getting the miles in!
ReplyDeleteNorah is smiling like she's ready for her own seven miler!
ReplyDeletei think the most amazing part in there is that jerry actually did something.
