I hope you're sitting down for this folks: Yes, I actually ran this morning! I did 3 miles like so:
1: 11:26
2: 10:49
3: 11:05
Time: 33:21
A little on the slow side, but clearly, I am allowed to blame the early hour for that, right? The brain might have been awake, but the body was still like, "Um, really? You wanna do what at this hour?"
Normally I am faster in the mornings. Of course, I could be the exception and not the rule. The important thing is that you were out htere.
ReplyDeleteRock on!
Good job getting out there! It took my body quite a while to figure out speed in the morning. Of course, I only run in the morning one day a week so that might have something to do with it.
ReplyDeleteon a Monday too! WoooT!
ReplyDeleteLook at Jamoosh thinking he's all special....
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being one of "us"! Even if it's a one-time deal.
Nice work. Your week is off to a great start.

ReplyDeleteGood job! I hope to announce I completed my 30 day challenge by this weekend...if the mornings treat me well.
ReplyDeleteYeah for getting out there! Doesn't it feel good to have it all done for the day? (something I have yet to experience for myself!) :)
ReplyDeleteAnd another one bites the dust. Congrats -- I guess -- on getting out there this morning. The evenings will miss you.
ReplyDeleteNice way to kick off the week!
ReplyDeleteNice job Jess!!
ReplyDeleteNice work.
ReplyDeleteShoot, you got up and ran! No matter what the speed, that's better than me. I fantasize about one day being an early-morning-runner and getting out before the crack of dawn. But it's pretty much not happening.
ReplyDeleteseriously impressive !! morning runs are way more hard core ;)
ReplyDeleteyesssssss awesome job girl!
ReplyDeleteOnly 20 more days till its a habit
ReplyDeleteway to go Jess! once you start, you can't stop, right?
ReplyDeleteLOL! Good job getting out there.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon your site as I was looking for some motivation to break some of my own bad habits in 21 days.
I am happy for you and wish you good luck in your accidentally discovered passion for running.
Whooo hooo yay for a.m. running!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Getting yourself out of bed is the hardest part. Keep it up Jess.
