because the camcorder arrived today!
It's a pretty sleek little machine -- a far cry from the gargantuan video camera my grandpa had when I was a kid (I think that thing must've weighed as much as a 3 year old) -- I have munchkin-sized hands and it fits perfectly within my palm.
So, be prepared: Once Norah arrives, I will most likely inundate you with some incredibly dull footage of her that only parents truly cherish, but I will expect you guys to "ohhhh" and "ahhhh," so maybe you want to go ahead and start practicing your fake enthusiasm.
