Doctor Appointments

Today, for my first day of break, I started by taking Scooter to his annual vet appointment. Once a year, he gets his "wellness exam," his updated vaccines, and we re-load on the necessary HeartGuard and Frontline Plus. A vet visit doesn't make any dog happy, but Scooter was good, if nervous, and he was declared healthy and cute. Okay, I added the cute. So, now he's all set for the next year. And my checkbook is now much lighter thanks to the visit (if only we could convince Blue Cross Blue Shield that Scooter, as our fur-baby, is a dependent and they should cover 90% of his medical costs).

And, this afternoon, I too have a doctor appointment, except Scooter can't come with me to mine. It's just a monthly check-in, and I suspect it will be the standard pee-in-a-cup, get weighed in, take my blood pressure, listen to the baby's HR, and I'll be on my way type of visit. No need for a fecal sample from me ;)

    Yeah, doggie healthcare is not cheep. I am glad our two dogs are at least on different schedules

    So I just realized that you changed your masthead to say your pregnant, but your profile picture is still a picture of you drinking out of a beer pitcher. I guess Narah and mommy like the same juice?
