Sucked it Up

Tonight, I really, really sucked at bowling. I think my scores were 122, 130, and then a dismal 106. In fact, it's probably best I try to forget that last game. The rest of the team didn't do so great either, and we did not win many points; thus, we are probably gonna drop out of the top ten in placement (currently, we're in 7th place). Oh well. Lots of weeks left in the season.

In other news, it's supposed to get cold here tonight! Well, cold for South Florida. It's supposed to dip down to 59 degrees, with highs only reaching the low 70s in the next few days. So I guarantee I'll see someone in a parka tomorrow morning! As for me, I think it's glorious! Perfect "jacket weather" and running weather! Can't wait to get out there tomorrow and run -- should be fabulous!

Okay. I'm a little drunk, not much, so I think I'll go to bed now. Happy Monday!

P.S. The meat featured below is BUFFALO, not beef, people. I said that, but a few referred to it as beef in the comments (Marcy, skimmer). I've never met a cow that big before.

P.S.S. Scooter's tail is still angry. He won't let it be. He may have to suffer through the e-collar. I'll keep you abreast of tail-gate '08.

P.P.S.S. My cousin had a baby today. It's a boy: William Owen. I guess that makes me a...second cousin? That's no fun. I texted my brother to relate the news of our cousin's new baby and he replied with this: "Babies are aliens. Who'd want one?" That's my bro, yo.

P.P.S.S.S. Are you guys stoked for Halloween? Only 4 days away! Any guesses as to my costume? I'll give you one hint: It is awesome. Can you guess it?

P.P.P.S.S.S. How good at drunk typing am I tonight? Do I get some kind of prize for this kind of accuracy? Shit.

holy crap 59 degrees? you better put on a sweater. At my mountain house in Banner Elk, NC today's high is only 32 degrees. It's supposed to snow. I don't feel sorry for you. JK, much love! better bowling to come.

  14. about that awesome costume...it best not be a SF Kangaroo, I thought I bought all of the available ones for George.

And why was it unbearably humid on Sunday morning for our run and beautiful the last two days?

Don't you always add extra P's to PS's since they are post-postscript? That might be too technical for drunk blogging though.

Hope you enjoy the cool weather for running.

I hope your cousin's last name does not start with a "P"

Awesome! You are going as Sean Penn in Fast Times at Ridgemont High! Wait, you are too young for that. Wayne's World!

  20. Isn't this weather great? Here in Orlando, we were in the 40's last night, and the 60's today. Same thing again tonight and tomorrow. I absolutely love it! I do laugh though, because so many people dropping the kids at Ava's school are bundled up like it's 20 degrees! But, this weather is just awesome, love wearing a light jacket and love the great running temps!

  21. Based on your typing skills, I think your bowling suffered from beer deficiency.

I would be thrilled to bowl 106. I'll probably never bowl over 100 and I'm okay with that.
