I downloaded a few new songs to the iPod yesterday for more rockin running, and it was nice to run my 3 miler (28:39) today with some new tunage. I added the following to the running playlist:
"Countdown" by Jupiter One
"You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" by The Offspring
"All Over You" by The Spill Canvas
"Slow Down" by The Academy Is...
"Do You Wanna" by The Kooks
"Heart Attack" by Low vs Diamond
"The '59 Sound" by The Gaslight Anthem
Oh, and I want to remember to add Fall Out Boy's new song, "I Don't Care," so remind me to do that.
On the non-running playlists, I'm currently digging the following:
"Like a Vibration" by The Whigs
"Time to Pretend" by MGMT
"Many Shades of Black" by The Raconteurs
"I'm Not Over" by Carolina Liar
"Oxford Comma" by Vampire Weekend
Also, just for kicks, the following two songs make me laugh because they're kinda silly:
"Don't Trust Me" by 3Oh 3
"Oh No You Didn't" by The Wojahn Bros
Oh, yeah, also I heard the new Paramore song, "Decode," today prefaced by the DJ in this way: "So, if you're a chick, you're probably all into that 'Twilight' book; also if you're a chick, you probably can't wait for the movie to come out; also if you're a chick, you're dying to hear this song off the movie's soundtrack." That made me laugh because I knew what song he was talking about, and I was excited. I'm a nerd like that.
Countdown is awesome. I like Life After Love by Low vs Diamond a little better than Heart Attack. Great playlist :)
