Gettin' Shiz Done

Last night, I went to bed at 9:30 and I slept until 7:30 this morning. It. Was. Awe. Some.

So, loaded up with extra Z's, I was like a well-oiled machine today. For one thing, I decided against the black Nike shirt I bought on Sunday for ATM. I just decided that it would be too hot, and ultimately, I didn't like how it failed to really "go" with any of my shorts. So I returned it, and found a shirt that was exactly what I was looking for. And guess where I found it? Children's section. Target. $9.99. So, here's the winning combination for Sunday's race: Secondly, I got a bunch of papers graded today. Granted, I still have what feels like a never-ending pile to still get to, but I feel like I'm making progress. Like the never-ending pile of essays to grade, my never-ending pile of laundry is finally beginning to look as though I'm making some headway. And...I got a 4 miler done (39:10).

Now all that's left to do is watch "Project Runway" and chill for the evening.

I think you'll be much happier in that shirt. I have a black tech shirt I got at a race and I pretty much never wear it.

Nice job on the run (I chose the "spend the day cleaning" route today and just didn't have the energy to run)

  12. I love the shirt (and Target). And great job on getting shiz done! I love that feeling.

So what did you think of PR tonight? I just don't know about the talent this year. It seems a little lacking.

And I wish Kenley would go AWAY already.

  23. I am a firm believer in getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep which is essential for all runners. Glad you got a reasonable amount of sleep. You will rock for this upcoming Sunday race.

  25. You're so productive:)
    Rockin'!

You teachers shouldn't make us write papers. Seriously:) Then you wouldn't have to mark any. OR if you guaranteed me an A+ I'd mark the papers for you!

  26. I always wonder about teachers... whether they ever get bored of grading and just give everyone else a B.
