Up to Our Ears in Clothes

This afternoon, a big box of baby clothes arrived via UPS from Jerry's mom. Apparently, she's been busy buying up the stock of baby girl clothes in the greater Twin Cities area: So, Jerry and I decided that it was time to break out all the clothes we've received so far and organize them by size. What a task! Here I am holding up one of the onesies I like: We have about ten of these in different colors, patterns and sizes. They're onesies, but they look like little dresses.
Nice that my bra strap is showing, huh? I'm classy like that.
And here's Jerry with one of his favorite outfits: Jerry is very fond of anything animals, but he seems to have a soft spot for ducks.
And here's a last shot of all the clothes sorting that we were doing: Somewhere beneath those piles, this laptop was buried.
So, after doing all the sorting, I think we're actually pretty close to set on clothes for at least the first few months (although, it's so difficult to predict how fast she'll grow, so it's tough to know exactly how much of any one size we'll need). And, I think Norah will be better dressed than I!

Wow, you weren't kidding with the clothing...just remember to try to wear it all...I got in the habit of just putting on what was on top of the laundry basket...they had clothes that they never got to wear!

Those oneies are prefect for FL! :)

My girls are always better dressed than myself!

  17. Ooh, I love little girl clothes. Back when all my friends were having kids, i'd go totally overboard buying stuff if I knew they were having girls.

    Cute stuff!

  22. HOly moly. Norah will be the best dressed gal in all of FL. Keeping them organized in size bins is sooooooo helpful and smart. Then as she grows out of them, you keep them for baby #2 (or give them away to friends who need them).
