Dog barf.
Yes, it seems Scooter had a little morning sickness of his own and he had thrown up all over the bed: the sheets, the comforter, the pillows, and some of it had dribbled down the side of the frame. (And I thought puking by the side of the road was bad! At least I made it to the outdoors!)
So, instead of a nap, I had more laundry to do. But I couldn't be mad at my little Copper Top; his eyes seemed to say (in the British accent I imagine him to have), "I'm sorry I puked, Mama. I didn't mean to!"
Anyway, I didn't get my nap, and since I was up and about anyway, I decided to go for a short 3 mile run. I didn't bring the Garmin along because I knew I was gonna be slow and I didn't want to see the numbers. But no matter the time, and no matter how I felt tired at first, when I was finished with the 3 miles, I felt really good.
It was a sympathy puke! So cute (since it's cleaned up now)
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to run too!
Poor pup! HOpe the pukies leave you both alone soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad the run made you feel better!
my dog pukes quite often too. hope he get healthy soon.
ReplyDeleteHe does kind of look like a British gent :-). But it would be "mummy" not "mama" ;-).
ReplyDeleteSorry he curtailed your attempts at slumbering :-(. Loves xoxo

ReplyDeleteDo you think maybe its contgious? Poor you and poor Scoots!

ReplyDeleteMy laundry is like that too. I have no idea how we have two loads of laundry a day with only TWO people in the house.
Wait until that baby is born!
Poor Scooter!
ReplyDeleteAww. I hate it when my pets are sick. That picture looks so sweet, though. Feel better, Scooter!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you're still dealing with nausea. I keep hoping it will go away for you.
You rock, I would of found a place amongst the puke to lay my head down. When I feel a nap coming on, it IS GOING TO HAPPEN!
ReplyDeleteHope for baby is feeling better.
