Of course, the only disadvantage to a short cut is that pulling it back for running is a bi-atch. Will probably be running in a hat or visor for awhile now. It's just easier.

Got My Hairs Cut
My hair was desperately in need of a cut and style. I hadn't had it cut since February, and I had essentially been allowing it to grow without care or concern, and the result was a haphazard look. So today, it was time to visit a salon and get that remedied. Here's the new 'do:
I'm quite pleased with it. She did a good job, and I'm especially pleased with the way she cut my bangs. She cut "into" them in order to angle them instead of just cutting across my forehead, and I think they lay much better. I might even go back to that stylist (which would be a first -- in my time in South Florida, I have yet to find a repeat stylist).
Of course, the only disadvantage to a short cut is that pulling it back for running is a bi-atch. Will probably be running in a hat or visor for awhile now. It's just easier.

I love the new 'do!! :-D
ReplyDeleteHair looks great, Jess! Looks like a great 4th you had. I like the pics.
ReplyDeleteIt fits your face perfectly! You should definitely go back! She did a nice job. I can *almost* pull my hair into a pony tail! I can't wait!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cute new 'do!!
ReplyDeleteVery smart
ReplyDeleteWow - you cut a bunch off....but it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteVery cute
ReplyDeleteLooks like the cut someone else I know just got ;-).
ReplyDeleteNo fair rockin' my chop 20x hotter than thyself!
Great time on the 5k, super cool shots from the race/4th, and hope the rest of this holiday weekend is just as cool as it started!
Very cute!!! I really like the bangs!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! love it!
ReplyDeleteThe new haircut looks great! Isn't it great when stylists actually do a good job?
ReplyDeleteWow super cute. And, I agree about pulling your heart back when it is short - it sucks. I've had short hard since last sept. and I'm so tired of it when running.
ReplyDeleteaw i could squeeze ya it's so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteCute!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! ;D ;D I always dig the shorter dos! Did you darken your hair too? Or is it just the lighting?
ReplyDeleteThe hair is so cute! Keep the stylist on repeat visit status.
ReplyDeleteI personally prefer pony tail length (a debate my wife and I always have, since she like her hair short), but I must say, the style suits you. And, I think it may actually make you look faster!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteCute cut!
ReplyDelete(said in my best Pedro voice:) "I like your bangs."
love the new 'do! What about a half ponytail and some headbandy thing to hold back the bangs...that works for me sometimes
ReplyDeleteVery boootiful :-)
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great!
ReplyDeleteHair looks good. I just read your July 4th post. Wow that was some fire show you had going there
ReplyDeleteCute cut!
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the hat when running. My hair is too short to put up or pull back, but long enough to fall into my eyes and be annoying. Except when it's windy, the hat works well and provides a little extra sun protection.
I think it looks great on you! I always did like you better in shorter hair it makes you look taller!
ReplyDeleteSee you soon...
You look Fabulous! I think you should definitely go back to this one!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome! I'm jealous because I so want to cut my hair short again, but with the baby coming I know I won't have time to style it and pulling it back will be way more convenient. I think I'll use it as a reward to myself for after I lose the baby weight!
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute!
ReplyDeleteI bet it will be cute running in a hat. I always run in a hat to protect my face (something that becomes more important when you're old and wrinkly like me...LOL)
Love the new haircut . . . very summery :)

ReplyDeletecrap, sorry about the alter ego. that was me. :D
ReplyDeleteCute, Cute, Cute! Looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou look completely different--in the good way! Actually, you look a bit like Page Davis with that do.
ReplyDeleteSo more PRs now that you're streamlined, right?
ReplyDeleteAwesome cute! I went short in May and getting used to it while running was a bit of a struggle but... visors work miracles!
ReplyDeletelove the new cut! fits you very well :)
ReplyDeletePurty!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, Good God! If you wanted feedback on the new 'do then you got it! haha 38 comments plus! I have never had THAT many people read my blog EVER!! Congrats! And I like the coiff too!
ReplyDeletelooks good. Hat's have the added bonus of sun protection. :)
ReplyDeletelove it! love it! love it! seriously I think it's great! I agree with your quandry- I don't like having little hairs on the back of my neck after workout- found out wearing a headband (the cloth type) AND a hat, keeps the back hair free :)
ReplyDeleteYour haircut's adorable! Sorry about those blisters on your tootsies.
ReplyDeleteVery nice haircut.
ReplyDeleteFor running, try pigtails, which work well with a visor. You might feel a tad silly at first, but after a while you'll own it!
Super flippin' cute! Yes, one of the perils of layers is they impede the ponytail. But just pull as much back as you can into a pony, then put on a visor to hold back the rest.
