3 Instead of 4

Tonight, I did not go the "extra mile": instead of doing the 4 I originally planned, I just did 3. Eh. I got out there and was like, "Ya know, I really feel like turning around at the 1.5 mile marker." So I did.

1: 9:30
2: 9:41
3: 9:31

Total Time: 28:44

Yeah, not so speedy, but I'll take it. I think I'm still pooped from my trip and from getting re-aquainted with the home and work fronts.

  1. That's the good thing about not being tied down to a plan (sometimes), is that you don't feel as bad when turning around before you originally planned. No biggie. You're out there doing it! and to me, it's speedy.

  3. At least you got out there!

I remember when I would take a few days off of skating or a week and then go back. It's amazing how quickly things can change that you have to build back up to.

  13. If that's what you call 'not so speedy', I would take that any day!

  16. You could have sat around in your bathrobe and slippers eating ice cream out of the carton, so no biggie about one less mile. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

  17. I'm so out of it. I struggled with my 3 the other day. I think someone put brinks in my sneakers!
