Tonight, I did not go the "extra mile": instead of doing the 4 I originally planned, I just did 3. Eh. I got out there and was like, "Ya know, I really feel like turning around at the 1.5 mile marker." So I did.
1: 9:30
2: 9:41
3: 9:31
Total Time: 28:44
Yeah, not so speedy, but I'll take it. I think I'm still pooped from my trip and from getting re-aquainted with the home and work fronts.
That's the good thing about not being tied down to a plan (sometimes), is that you don't feel as bad when turning around before you originally planned. No biggie. You're out there doing it! and to me, it's speedy.
ReplyDeleteDo you run on a trail or what? Markers?
ReplyDeleteAt least you got out there!
ReplyDeleteI remember when I would take a few days off of skating or a week and then go back. It's amazing how quickly things can change that you have to build back up to.
Eh, you will be back to speedy(to me it's roadrunner speedy) in no time. It was a busy weekend with all that aese flashing..lol! Yot gou there and that counts for a lot.
ReplyDeleteNice effort, Jess!
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is getting out there for 3 or 4. It's all good!
ReplyDeletePretty speedy to me!
ReplyDeleteDon't sweat it. You got back at it, that's the important thing.
ReplyDeleteThe running community is just glad you are back. You'll be back to Speedy in no time!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, 3 is all you need :-).
ReplyDeleteWelcome home!
Nah... You're still speedy, even when you're off :-)
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with that :-) You got and there and did something, right? And that's all that counts.
ReplyDeleteIf that's what you call 'not so speedy', I would take that any day!
ReplyDeleteYep, it's easy to drop a mile now and then...
ReplyDeleteIt is not always about speed. Nice run at an even pace.
ReplyDeleteYou could have sat around in your bathrobe and slippers eating ice cream out of the carton, so no biggie about one less mile. Hope you enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm so out of it. I struggled with my 3 the other day. I think someone put brinks in my sneakers!
ReplyDeleteThree is better than two.
ReplyDeleteKeep it up.
Least you got out there! Three miles is better then no miles, right?
ReplyDeleteGood job:)
