You are my "nearest friend or relative" and the doctor mentioned you were in today. He complimented you and Jerry on your nice family; little does he know. J/K!

I say get the little guy doing his PT and soon he will be in a brain drain and tummy time won't be so horrible. Play the helmet by ear. You do want to make sure medically he has no issues and you are doing just that. Cosmetics is another thing but remember, he may be bald one day and curse you for his mishapen head. He may also be the one that choses your nursing home.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07519747568510528595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13849002.post-49789537346988590522011-09-12T13:12:04.532-05:002011-09-12T13:12:04.532-05:00I know it must be hard, your a mother and your ins...I know it must be hard, your a mother and your instinct is to be worried/concerned and want to do what is best while still making your child happy. I hope it all works out with the flat spot on Caleb's head, I have known of other people that this all works out in the end. Just makes for this time period frustrating for you all. He loved to lay or sit with his head turned to the right. No matter what we did his head naturally gravitated to that position. Tummy time was a real bummer for us too. His doctor was never concerned and wouldn't you know, he's got a perfectly shaped head now at 6 years old.

My cousins son's head is a bit flat but nowhere near what my son's was and her doctor already has him in PT and wearing a helmet 23 hours a day.
